Stained Glass Restoration

The restoration of a magnificent stained glass window featuring George Washington, located at the Washington's music venue in Old Town Fort Collins, is a project of particular pride. My son, Taylor, and I started the work in 2016, rebuilding the piece that was originally commissioned in 1895.

The restoration took a year as we disassembled, cleaned and repaired each piece. Great care was taken to use the original glass, even if broken. In instances where the glass was beyond repair, new glass was found to match the original as closely as possible.
